CM Yogi brainstormed for more than three hours with ministers at his residence on Saturday regarding the preparations for the by-elections for 9 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh. In the meeting, the CM has given the task to all the ministers as well as the officials to win all the seats at any cost and has also fixed the responsibility of the in-charge seats. He directed to further strengthen the election management up to the booth level and also to solve their problems by communicating directly with the public through Chaupals.
The CM asked the ministers to work with better coordination by taking feedback from the officials looking after the organization up to the booth level. CM said that there is no time now, all the ministers should spend more time on the seats under their respective charge. Communicate directly with the public, listen to their problems and get them resolved. The CM also advised the ministers and officials not to leave any slack in fulfilling their responsibilities. He said that winning the by-election will not only be an electoral success but also a victory of public trust. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya was not present in the meeting, while Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, Minister Suresh Khanna, Surya Pratap Shahi, Swatantra Dev Singh and all the ministers and BJP State President Bhupendra Chaudhary and General Secretary Organization Dharampal were present.

By-election will be held under the leadership of Yogi: Bhupendra
State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary said that election preparations for all the nine seats of the party have been completed. This by-election will be held under the leadership of the Chief Minister and all the seats will be won. He said that BJP has entered the election field with full force. On the question of elections not being held on Milkipur seat, the State President said that elections will be held on this seat soon and those conspiring to postpone the elections will be defeated.
There was also discussion on law and order
The Chief Minister also discussed with the ministers about strengthening law and order in the meeting. Along with the preparations for the elections, the Chief Minister also asked to continuously discuss with those responsible for maintaining law and order and review the progress of development works.
Keep in constant contact with caste leaders
He also asked to prepare a strategy keeping in mind the caste equation on seats. CM said that not only the seat but also the booth level, leaders should be activated in terms of caste equation and communicate with the people of that caste. Make a list of migrant voters and make arrangements to call them. Will gather support by contacting people and leaders of castes who influence voting.
Ministers submitted report on opposition’s strategy
The CM asked all the ministers and officials to knock door-to-door seat-wise and work on preparing a roadmap from the time of nomination till the day of voting. On this occasion, the ministers, along with their own preparations, also submitted a report to the CM on the election preparations of the opposition and the status of the declared candidates. CM said that after nomination, all the ministers will migrate to the assembly constituency.
